MATH1on1, Incorporated was developed in August of 2003 by a certified math teacher who holds a master's degree in Innovative Teachings In Mathematics from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, Florida. As a teacher in the classroom, she has created innovative techniques in order to help lower performing students achieve a better understanding of math concepts. Through overhead teaching and PowerPoint presentations, she developed an innovative technique using different colors to illustrate a new step in a problem. Her students understand the problems better using different colors for each step, and they were able to go back and see where they made their mistakes. She has developed a reputation of helping lower performing students achieve a higher grade on standardized tests, such as Florida's FCAT. "MATH1on1" is a committed tutoring service to meet your mathematical basic needs.

The mission of our small but dedicated staff is to provide students, teachers, parents, and schools with a more detail way of explaining difficult math concepts to students who are struggling with math. Math is a discipline that requires a basic foundation and a natural transition from core knowledge to more advanced concepts. This process is achieved via our step by step color coordinated books. Our goal is for our students to be independent thinkers and to be able to develop confidence in math. The problems individual faces in math today are the basics. MATH1on1 concentrates on the basics in order to help students understand the basic foundation to success in math.

A much more effective approach to tutoring Mathematics is to supplement homework help and exam preparation with a comprehensive assessment of the foundation concepts. Filling in the gaps acquired in the student's earlier education is the only way for them to be prepared for the next step, the next grade, College, or University. Keeping the foundation and core concepts constantly in mind is the primary ingredient for success in math.
